Mischa Barton, who was born in Hammersmith England United Kingdom on the 24th of January, 1986 is one of the most well-known and successful TV actresses. On the television series The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared as a character in The Sixth Sense a thriller. She also appeared in The Sixth Sensation, which is a suspense film. The O.C. In addition, she was a part of the hit TV series The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. She played her love-interest. The first time Barton appeared on television was in 1994, when she played the role of a young Corvina lang in flashbacks for the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, Barton was back on All My Children, replacing Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. After returning to Romania the reception she received was that of a hero. Comaneci was awarded two additional gold medals during the 1980 Olympics, and she also took home two more silvers. The total Olympic medal count now stands at nine. Comaneci received her honors in 1996 after she was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal listed Comaneci among the top 100 Women from the 20th Century. Comaneci was wed with American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April of 1996. They have their son Dylan Paul. The couple has numerous business ventures relating to gymnastics. These include the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci also has been active in a variety of charities, serving as one of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association board of directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She has also continued to assist dozens of organizations in Romania, including those at the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
