Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she did not learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and took part in the drama department. At 16, she left the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
