Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th of 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle, her mother who worked as her manager in her teen years and to her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her acting career began at the age of 4 years old after growing up living in Canyon Country with her siblings. Early in her career, she performed as an extra on shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. In 1995 at 13 she got her first role in the first film Friday. The role she played as Cisely her troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her attention. The film got two nominations and her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good was able to play small film and television roles for the next few years, before transitioning into more serious roles in the mid 2000s. She was a part of Nina on Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. program from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles on the show from 1998 to 2001. The actress also appeared in D.E.B.S in 2004 which was an action-comedy film, which got her nominated as the Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Killmer, originally from Texas, studied at Baylor University Waco Texas where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. degree in performing arts 2010. Her first appearance on screen during 2010 when she appeared on the web series If Can Dream. After having appeared in various local shows, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 with the pilot episode in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show revolved around the group of people who first settled in Hollywood California.
