Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in the city of Havana, Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami when she was two years old. Ana was lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. Her move to Miami with her family around age 2 after moving from Havana. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award, and was ranked in 2015 as the most popular Spanish-language programming at 4pm across key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated from Florida International University's political sciences program, she made the move to Havana where she stayed for the next 20 years. In the following years she received her PhD degree in law from University of Miami. In the end, she obtained the PhD in law from The University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in Miami. Polo was first exposed to the public via television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) and other court shows in which her legal expertise was tapped. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In 1958, the author released her novel Los Hijos Muertos. It was awarded the Critic's Award for Literature and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain in the year 1960. Polo regularly speaks, and she helps raise money to support the campaign. She's always been a vocal advocate in support of LGBT concerns. Her law degree was awarded in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
