Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most famous role is playing Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the leading actress in those films. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the younger child of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle is her older sister and is an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. After Buffy came to an end, Benson has appeared in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Her talents as a writer have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy, after spending hours and efforts to locate them, states there are over 1800 Slayers all over the world, and 500 working for the Scooby Gang. They are now able to awaken as Slayers as they mature to a suitable level for instance the Slayer Soledad was awakened at the age of 16. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for Season 10 Supernatural. She is apparently a mysterious, old-school Witch.
