Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson, born on 24 July 1975, is an American former professional wrestler. Wilson is best known for her work with World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation. She was also an official Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. In the following year, she was signed by World Championship Wrestling in 1999, and there she remained from 1999 to 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001 her appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline, which was then called the WWF). [5] She was most prominent in her feud with Dawn Marie ([7][8]) and with Sable ([5][99]). Wilson is part of the all-female stable, which is a group of characters who are part of storylines. She was first exposed to wrestling when she was a spectator at an International Championship Wrestling(WCW) event in 1999. After a backstage visit the show, she was invited to enter the ring along with Scott Steiner. In the following days, Kevin Nash expressed an desire to write a storyline with her. Her first appearance was on the episode of Nitro 8 on February 8, 1999 (later changed to "Samantha") It was revealed, in the episode's storyline that Wilson was snatched by the New World Order (nWo) to deceive David Flair into turning against his father, Ric Flair. The two were seen together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st in which Wilson slapped Ric as David hit him with a Taser. 15 days after Ric won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside the Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took their time off from WCW television in April before returning in May to accompany David to the arena for matches. Wilson was Flair's valet at the 1999 Bash at the Beach. Flair has been successful in defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.
