Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai, India,[4] Pichai obtained his degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. When he moved to America, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. Following a brief time at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. He was responsible for the creation of Google Drive as well as product management and innovation. Pichai also oversaw the creation of Google Maps, Gmail, and other apps. In the year 2010, Pichai also declared the open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 developed by Google and unveiled the new format for video, WebM. 2012 saw the release of Chromebook. In 2013 Pichai added Android to the catalog of Google products he oversees.
